Photoshop tutorial - Mirroring

A mirror can be created in many ways, here I have shown two of the ways to do it.

1. Create a new document of size 300×80

2. Select Type tool (T) and then write a text at the top of the document.
I chose a blue color and size 36px.
Spejling1

3. Select the marquee tool (M) and drag a rectangle around the text closely, and then copy the selection (Ctrl + C).
Paste (Ctrl + V) so that you just copied and select the Move tool (V). Check that the top layer in the Layers palette is selected, and drag the text to the bottom of the document, so you have two similar texts together.

4. Go into Edit-Transform-Flip vertical, and then yank the text up a bit so it is just below the upper text.

Your image should look something like this:
Spejling2

5. Then press the Add a layer style bottom of the Layers palette and select Gradient Overlay, click the Gradient.

Here click on the arrow in the lower left corner of the color and choose the same color as you have typed text.
In the lower right arrow, select white. Dialog box would then like to look like this:

Gradient Editor

Click ok.

6. Put the Angle to -90 and click ok.

Gradient Overlay

7. So we just put Opaticy top of the Layers palette to 50%.

Then we finished.
Mirroring end1

As I said, it could be done in many ways. Another way to do it where you can control the gradient a little more on my show now.

1. Follow the first four steps as shown above.

2. Low as a new layer by clicking Create a new layer (Shift + Ctrl + N) at the bottom of the Layers palette.

3. Select the Gradient tool (G) which, together with Paint Bucket tool in the tools. Check that the linear Gradient is selected in the top menu bar and click on the color of the mark.

4. Put that here both arrows at the bottom color to white, or otherwise, if your background has a different color. The arrow in the upper right corner enable you Opaticy to 0

Gradient Editor

Click ok.

5. With the Gradient tool still selected you draw a line from the bottom of the bottom text up the middle in the top text.
Depending on how long you drag the sheet you can control the gradient to fit what you want.

6. So we just put opaticy to 75%.

Mirroring end2

You can also use this method on more than one text, for example. images to be mirrored.

Then we finished.

The Pfeiffersche glandular fever is a viral disease caused by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) va when kissing is transmitted. Therefore they are also called kissing disease or Kusskrankheit. Comparison Shopping for Wedding Rings

Shopping for wedding rings can be a long process. My friend and her fiance started shopping for wedding bands two months ago. They compared rings at major department and jewelry stores, local jeweler, or online stores to see where they got the most value. Her fiance wanted a simple gold mens wedding band while my friend wanted a pave-cut diamond wedding band. At the major stores, their ideal ring settings were above their budget, so they searched online for highly-reviewed local and internet jewelry stores and visited them. They found great deals at a local jeweler and online jewelry store. After a month of searching, her fiance bought a band that he liked in a local store. He did find a similarly-priced ring online but chose to buy the ring at this store because he could get it right away. Alternatively, my friend bought a ring online because of the style, even though it cost $50 more than one she could get from the local jeweler. They are both are very happy with their choices! When buying wedding rings, allot much time and consider other stores that you may not think of because you never know what you will find.

Computer Optimization - What is It?

Everybody talks about it, but I think most people don’t really understand the importance of the whole concept. And that’s totally fine. The true meaning might come easier to computers and technology freaks. But our team’s main purpose here is to help YOU. You might be wondering, “but why should I care?” Simply put, if you don’t know zilch about computers (if you must rely on a tech guy for all your repairs and maintenance), then you should know that your system, just like your car, needs to be tuned-up every now and then in order to keep all the “squirrels inside” running smoothly (to keep it in optimum condition). In other words, knowing when your car needs maintenance can save you big bucks; same concept goes for computer services.

But what’s computer optimization? First, we must know the meaning of the word “optimization” or “optimize.” The American Heritage® Dictionary defines the term as “to make as perfect or effective as possible.” In my own words, computer optimization is a number of processes to which a system (whether is a MAC OS, Microsoft Windows, or Linux/Unix based computer) undergoes in order to maintain its normal usability and performance. Here’s a general list of the basic procedures (some might not apply to all operating systems):

Full disk(s) clean-up
Registry integrity check and clean-up
Antivirus Protection Software, spyware, malware and virus protection - with Anitivirus software
Disk(s) defragmentation & error-checking test

The good news, for guys like us, is that this is not everything you can do for you computer. Other advanced options such as firewall configuration, hardware driver updates, operating system core stability & integrity check, motherboard BIOS and RAM (random access memory) upgrade, etc., can also be performed to make of your system a SUPER system. And believe it or not, even the dust accumulated inside your case can affect the performance of your computer. Who would have thought of such thing!
I know it seems like a lot of stuff to do, but I think you now understand what true computer optimization really is, what it takes, and how important it can be for your system in the long (and short) run. Right? My advice, if you don’t enjoy working with motherboards and CPUs, is simply leave the job to experts like us!
